The Laboratory of Electrical Devices and Applied Electronics is a specialized laboratory that is freely accessible to students using an ISIC card. Students have access to essential laboratory equipment, including laboratory power supplies, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, development kits for microcontroller applications, various types of electric motors, physical models, and a prototyping workstation equipped with a soldering station and tools. The laboratory also provides computers with CodeComposer Studio and MATLAB/Simulink software for modeling and simulation of electric drives, as well as a library containing professional literature related to the study program.
The laboratory underwent a major reconstruction in 2024, during which it was equipped with new furniture for storing laboratory equipment, electrical power outlets were installed at the workbenches, a dedicated prototyping workstation was established, and a significant amount of new laboratory equipment was added. An electronic access control system and camera surveillance were also installed. In 2025, additional equipment was added to the laboratory, including a laser projector and a library. The described modernization of the laboratory was carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic under the KEGA project No. 059TUKE‑4/2024.
