About laboratory

The laboratory is intended for teaching and research purposes in the field of electrical machines. Basic measurements of the characteristics of AC and DC electrical machines and transformers are carried out in the laboratory. It is equipped with two dynamometers (a high‑speed Steiger Mohilo dynamometer with highly accurate torsional torque sensors and a commutator dynamometer), single‑phase and three‑phase power analyzers, as well as the necessary power supply and measurement equipment (laboratory power supplies and instruments intended for measurements on electrical machines).

The laboratory allows the creation of three independent measurement workstations, which are used for teaching relevant specialist courses as well as for the completion of final theses or semester projects.
